By using The Back Bar ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
The Back Bar is a cocktail recipe app. Free features include browsing the built-in recipe library, tracking what's in your bar, building a shopping list, and rating/reacting to Community Cocktails. Premium (a paid monthly subscription) additionally lets you create and save your own recipes and removes ads.
You may use the app anonymously or create an account with an email and password. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must not impersonate others or use another person's account without permission.
Anything you post to Community Cocktails (recipes, comments, ratings) is visible to other users. You're responsible for what you post — don't post anything illegal, infringing, or abusive. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate this.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. This includes content that is hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, promotes violence, or encourages irresponsible or underage drinking. You can report any recipe or comment using the "..." menu on it, and you can block any user from the same menu, which hides their content from you straight away. We review every report within 24 hours and will remove offending content and remove users who break these rules.
You retain ownership of recipes you submit, but by posting to Community Cocktails you grant us a license to display that content within the app to other users.
Premium is a recurring monthly subscription, billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, at the price shown at time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You can cancel any time through your Apple or Google account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled by Apple/Google according to their own policies, not by us directly.
The app is provided "as is." Cocktail recipes are provided for informational purposes; you're responsible for your own alcohol consumption and compliance with the legal drinking age and local laws in your jurisdiction.
